Ethel Thornsbury Scott, 94, of Richmond, KY went home to be with the Lord on June 22, 2016, at Richmond, KY.

  Ethel was born November 21, 1921, at Canada, KY the daughter of the late Octavia and Madison Thornsbury.  She
was also preceded in death by her husband Clayton Scott and three sons Tommy, David and Jimmy Scott; four sisters
Betty Jane Cook, Goldie Scott Hankins, Lola West and Lena Mullins; eight brothers Bob, Claude, John, Calvin, Willie,
Herbert, Warren and George Thornsbury.

  Survivors include one son, Elder Frankie (Jewel) Scott of Richmond, KY; seven grandchildren Sherry Scott of
Richmond, KY, Tim (Sue) Scott of St. Claire Shores, MI, Gina (Tony) Tincher of Howell, MI, and Shellie, Tammy,
Kathy and Jimmy Jr. Scott; four great grandchildren Marissa Scott, Selena, Hunter and Treyton Klaassen.

  Ethel was a member of the Mount Pleasant Old Regular Baptist Church.

  Visitation will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 24 and Saturday, June 25 at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with
special services both nights at 7:00 pm.  

  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 26 at the R.E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Elders
Albert Cable, Tommy Dials, and Lacy Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in the Scotts Cemetery at Hardy, KY with
Tim Scott, Ronnie West, Curtis Bogar, Bobby Scott Jr., Bobby Thornsbury, and Neal Thornsbury serving as pallbearers.
