Floyd Church Jr., 65, of Ransom, KY, passed away Monday evening, May 2, 2016, in the Pikeville Medical Center.
He was born April 22, 1951, at Ransom, KY, He was born April 22, 1951, at Ransom, KY, the son of Mollie Raines
Church and the late William Floyd. He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Franklin Church.
He was a carpenter and an Assistant Pastor of the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Teresa (Darin) Whitt of Hardy, KY and Kelli Blankenship of Beech Creek, WV;
sisters, Kathleen Glenn of Ransom, KY, Mary Kay Isom of McCarr, KY and Angie (Wayne) Chafin of Fort Gay, WV;
brothers, Ronnie Dale (Clara) Church of Stone, KY and Michael (Tonya) Church of Ransom, KY; grandchildren,
Danielle (James) Church, Chance Whitt, William Blankenship and Brianna Kidwell; his special family, Jordan Smith,
Everette Smith, Landon and Kay Smith and his Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016, at 11 AM at the Bluesprings Freewill Baptist Church with Larry
Hubbard and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Alley Cemetery, Ransom, KY, wih family and friends serving as
Visitation will be held after 6 PM, Wednesday at the Church with special services at 7 PM.
Sharon Kaye "Katie" Williams, 64, of Richmond, KY, formerly of Sidney, KY, passed away Monday, May 2,
2016, at her residence in Richmond, KY.
Katie was born January 1, 1952, at Pikeville, KY, to the late Thomas L. and Luola Ray Young. Katie was a
cosmetologist and a former beauty instructor at Appalachian Beauty School.
Katie is survived by her sons, Brent (Jennifer) Billiter of Richmond, KY, Robert Jason Clark of Richmond, KY, and
Aaron Thomas (Crystal) Clark of Richmond, KY. Katie is also survived by her brother, Gary Kenneth (Vickie) Young of
Sidney, KY, and her grandchildren, James Dalton Billiter, Jesse Dylan Billiter, Ally McKenna Clark, Robert Jaxon Clark,
Maleah Braelynn Coleman, Asher Thomas Clark and a host of loving family and friends.
Funeral services will conducted at 1 PM, Friday, May 6, 2916, at R. E. Rogers Funeral Home with Mark Helton
officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memory Gardens, Huddy, KY, with family and friends serving as
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday night at the funeral home.
