She was born in Leechburg, Pennsylvania on July 11, 1943. 711 would be a number she was fascinated with
her whole life. She came to Toledo after meeting her future husband, Frank, working at the YMCA as a waitress
in Crestline, OH. In Toledo, she worked for White Tower on Airport Highway, and later for Bob Evans, retiring
in 1993. She was a loving mother, wife, and a friend to everyone she met. She is most likely already in a marathon
Yahtzee session with her friend Ann, who has been waiting for her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Franklin E. Justice, daughter, Tamara Lumpkins, and
parents, Myrtle (Beck) and John Butler. She will be greatly missed by her children, Michael (Lisa) Justice of
Perrysburg, Christina (Melvin) Earl of Crestline, OH, and Douglas (Tammy) Cowan of Sacramento, CA; 10
grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; her sister and "twin", Delores (Cricket)
Nesbit, and her brother, John Butler.
Visitation will be held at Walter Funeral Home on Monday, September 15 from 4pm to 7pm.
She will then be buried next to her husband at Smith Cemetery in Sidney, Kentucky on Wednesday,
September 17, 2014 at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. We would not have
gotten through these last weeks without them.
